Adelaide River Crocodile

This image is from the Jumping Crocodile Cruise in the Northern Territory along the Adelaide River (just over an hours drive from Darwin). The cruise tours are open from May to November and are closed for the wet season. The tour gives people the opportunity to see crocodiles extremely close jump high out of the water to reach the meat dangled in front of them. The Adelaide river is also home to the famous 3 legged, 5.5 meter long crocodile who is said to be 80 years old, Brutus. This experience will definitely give tourists an adrenaline rush and I highly recommend the experience for anyone, it is definitely one you won’t forget.
